Vickie Y. Mabry-Height, MD, MPH, FACP, has practiced medicine for over 40+ years as a board-certified physician in the specialty of Internal Medicine. She has been a champion for increasing health awareness and striving to eradicate health disparities for underserved populations. Over the last 12+ years, she has been fighting for justice to be served in her active case, in which she was a victim of racism, discrimination, and sexism in medicine. Recently, she authored “White Coat Secrets, Still Standing: A Doctors Story,” that chronicles her journey from the Jim Crow South cotton fields to accomplishing her dream of becoming a doctor, against the odds. Dr. Height is a graduate of York College (Biology), Yeshiva University Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Medical Doctorate), UCLA (Masters in Public Health), and UCSF (Healthcare Leadership).
